TechSkills' Medical Administrative Specialist (MAS) program gives our
Students the training needed to get a fast start on their medical industry
careers. The MAS program prepares our Students for entry-level positions
such as Medical Records Technician, Medical Secretary, Medical Billing Clerk
and others
The in-depth curriculum covers several key areas, giving our Graduates the
confidence they need to compete successfully in the workplace. TechSkills'
unique blended learning model allows each Student to work at their own pace,
with access to a professionally-certified instructor in person, via
telephone or electronically. Our Students can study from home, from work, at
our Learning Center, or from virtually any place they have access to a
computer and the Internet. This means that our Students can match their
training schedule to the demands of their personal lives.

Gain the valuable skills you need in a variety of computer-assisted medical
office settings, including hospitals, medical and dental offices and
insurance and billing companies. Learn medical terminology, transcription,
insurance and coding, and computerized patient accounting. Students are
introduced to word processing and spreadsheet applications in the DOS and
Windows environments. CPR certification is included. Externship
opportunities may be available.

This ten month diploma program prepares students with the
necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level office
positions in the health care industry. Career opportunities may be
